Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Her modeling career started in Italy which is in which she was born and raised, before being born in California. Her acting career began in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land a small role for her in Starship Troopers. It was at first was hard for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. It's because the majority of models aren't great actors. They are typically given insignificant and small role. Amy never gave up. Her first big part came from The 70s followed by Varsity Blues. In 2005, she took part in the leading role of the romance comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. The film was a major box office success and Amy has finally achieved the recognition that she was striving for for over 10 years. Amy went on to star in major movies including the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
