Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, as well as a talented actress. She's attractive and skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. In the wake of a number of first appearances in some popular series she achieved fame by joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in fame, the actress was offered roles on major screens such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time she was also in box-office failures including Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and others she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason's role as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not bring about the positive results. Southland was a critically-acclaimed crime drama that established Liu as an actress of the future. Liu takes great care when selecting her roles in order that she doesn't become typecast within a highly intensely competitive field. She's acknowledged her Chinese heritage, but hasn't let it limit her artistically.
