Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English roots. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy was born into a household with six kids. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. They was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and was hoping to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to enroll her. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. At the age of 16, Taylor-Joy dropped out to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor.
